3-D Printing in the Forge and Clinic: Hoof Anatomy Models, Veterinary Applications, and Horseshoes



3-D printing in the horseshoe world probably was done first in some high-tech factory in Asia, but let's give some credit to Curtis Burns in the United States, who has been using 3-D printing in the design of Polyflex glue-on shoes. Those nice people up in Canada are at it again. Canadian farrier competitors are setting a world record for media support this year, and it's all been good news. The latest is a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation interview with four-time World Champion Steven Beane of Yorkshire, England, who is in Canada this weekend to judge their national championship in Calgary.
